CHARGE light On when the handset is charging in the telephone base or char ger .

14 T elephone Setup 15 T elephone Oper ation Home Area Code If you dial your local calls using only seven digits (area code not r equired), you can program your home ar ea code so that when you receive a call within your local area, the telephone number is automatically stor ed without the area code in the call log.

20 Director y 21 Director y Director y The directory can stor e up to 50 entries with up to 30 digits for each phone number and 15 characters for each name. • When there ar e no records in the dir ectory , the screen shows DIRECTORY EMPTY . • When the directory is full and you try to save an entry , the screen shows LIST FULL .
