There is a notch in the bottom of the log for clearance for the thermocou- ple and thermocouple cover (ceramic protection tube).

Y ou may use the included wall mount thermostat or purchase an optional programmable thermostat or remote control. The included thermostat is equipped with an adjustable heat anticipator .
