2 This drawing shows the locations of the warning decals. If a decal is missing or illegible, call the telephone number on the front cover of this manual and request a free replacement decal. Apply the decal in the location shown. Note: The decals may not be shown at actual size.
3 1. It is the responsibility of the owner to ensure that all users of this treadmill are adequately informed of all warnings and precautions. 2. Before beginning any exercise program, consult your physician. This is especially important for persons over age 35 or persons with pre-existing health problems.
4 20. The heart rate monitor is not a medical device. V arious factors, including the user’s movement, may affect the accuracy of heart rate readings. The heart rate monitor is intended only as an exercise aid in determin- ing heart rate trends in general.

The POWER 795 treadmill offers an impressive selection of features designed to make your workouts at home more enjoyable and effective . And when you’re not exercising, the unique treadmill can be folded up, requiring less than half the oor space of other treadmills.
6 P ART IDENTIFICA TION CHART Use the drawings below to identify small parts used for assembly . The number in parentheses below each draw- ing is the key number of the part, from the P ART LIST near the end of this manual. The number following the key number is the quantity used for assembly .
7 ASSEMBL Y • Assembly requires two persons. • Place all parts in a cleared area and remove the packing materials. Do not dispose of the packing materials until you nish assembly . • After shipping, there may be an oily substance on the exterior of the treadmill.
8 3. Identify the Left Upright (89). Have a second person hold the Left Upright near the Base (94). See the inset drawing. T ie the wire tie in the Left Upright (89) securely around the end of the Upright Wire (81). Then, pull the other end of the wire tie until the Upright Wire is routed through the Left Upright.
9 5. Identify the Left Base Cover (82) and the Right Base Cover (83). Slide the Left Base Cover onto the Left Upright (89). Slide the Right Base Cover onto the Right Upright (90). Do not press the Base Covers into place yet. Identify the Left Upright Cover (79) and the Right Upright Cover (80).
10 7. Attach the Left Handrail (88) to the Left Upright (89) with two 5/16" x 1" Screws (5), two 5/16" Star W ashers (1 1), and a 5/16" x 1 1/4" Bolt (4). Do not fully tighten the Screws and Bolt yet. Attach the Right Handrail (87) in the same way .
11 10. With the help of a second person, hold the con- sole assembly near the Left Handrail (88). Connect the Upright Wire (81) to the console wire. See the inset drawing. The connectors should slide together easily and snap into place. If th ey do not, turn one connector and try again.
12 12. Firmly tighten the four 3/8" x 2 3/4" Screws (7) and the four 3/8" x 1 1/4" Screws (8) (only one side is shown). Press the Left Base Cover (82) and the Right Base Cover (83) onto the Base (94) until they snap into place. 12 83 8 82 94 7 13.
13 15. Attach the Left T ray (107) and the Right T ray (108) to the console assembly with four #8 x 1/2" Screws (1). 107 108 15 Console Assembly 1 1 1 16. IMPORT ANT : See page 15 and plug in the power cord. Next, see page 17 and turn on the power .
14 17. IMPORT ANT : Before you begin this step, make sure that you have read and followed all instructions in step 16. Raise the Frame (56) to the position shown. Have a second person hold the Frame until this step is completed. Orient the Storage Latch (53) so that the large barrel and the latch knob are oriented as shown.
15 OPERA TION AND ADJUSTMENT HOW TO CONNECT THE POWER CORD Use a Surge Suppressor Y our treadmill, like other electronic equipment, can be damaged by sudden voltage changes in your home’s power . V oltage surges, spikes, and noise interfer- ence can result from weather conditions or from other appliances being turned on or off.
16 ETPF79510 (PFTL79510) FEATURES OF THE CONSOLE The treadmill console offers an impressive array of features designed to make your workouts more effec- tive and enjoyable. When you use the manual mode, you can change the speed and incline of the treadmill with the touch of a button.
17 HOW TO TURN ON THE POWER IMPORTANT: If the treadmill has been exposed to cold temperatures, allow it to warm to room tem- perature before turning on the power. If you do not do this, you may damage the console displays or other electrical components.
18 4. Change the incline of the treadmill as desired. To change the incline of the treadmill, press the Incline increase or decrease button or one of the numbered Quick Incline buttons. Each time you press one of the buttons, the treadmill will gradually adjust to the selected incline setting.
19 6. Measure your heart rate if desired. Before using the hand- grip heart rate monitor , remove the sheets of plas- tic from the metal contacts on the pulse bar.
20 HOW TO USE AN ONBOARD WORKOUT 1. Insert the key into the console. See HOW TO TURN ON THE POWER on page 17. 2. Select an onboard workout. T o select an onboard workout, press the Calorie button, the Interval button, the Speed button, or the Endure button repeatedly until the desired workout appears in the display.
21 HOW TO USE AN IFIT LIVE WORKOUT Note: To use an iFit Live workout, you must have an optional iFit Live module. To purchase an iFit Live module at any time, go to www.iFit.com or call the telephone number on the front cover of this man- ual. You must also have access to a computer with a USB port and an internet connection.
22 HOW TO USE A PROFORM SYNC The optional PROFORM SYNC enables you to record your treadmill workout results on your iPod ® (not included). You can then upload your results to Nikeplus.com, where you can use an array of tools to analyze your results and monitor your progress toward your tness goals.
23 THE INFORMATION MODE The console features an information mode that keeps track of treadmill information and allows you to person- alize console settings. 1. Select the information mode. To select the information mode, hold down the Stop button while inserting the key into the console, and then release the Stop button.
24 HOW TO USE THE STEREO SOUND SYSTEM This treadmill has been designed specically to work with iPod and has been certied by the developer to meet Apple performance standards.
25 HOW TO FOLD THE TREADMILL To avoid damaging the treadmill, a djust the incline to the lowest position before you fold the treadmill. Then, remove the key and unplug the power cord. CAUTION: You must be able to safely lift 45 lbs. (20 kg) to raise, lower, or move the treadmill.
26 Most treadmill problems can be solved by follow - ing the simple steps below. Find the symptom that applies, and follow the steps listed. If further assis- tance is needed, see the front cover of this manual.
27 Locate the Reed Switch (52) and the Magnet (50) on the left side of the Pulley (49). Turn the Pulley until the Magnet is aligned with the Reed Switch.
28 SYMPTOM: The walking belt is off-center or slips when walked on a. If the walking belt is off-center, rst remove the key and UNPLUG THE POWER CORD.
