It also lets you personal ize your workout session and stores information about your prefer red program, workout time, weight, and age.

Owner’s Manual: Workout Options 32 Ending a W orkout C A UTI ON: Hold on to the handrail when you near the end of a workout. When the display resets to the banner , the incline is reset to zero. Do not step off the treadmill until the lift has stopped moving.

Owner’s Manual: Programs 34 Choosing a P r ogram Choosing a progr am depends on your goals. If you are a beginner or returning to regular exercise, you can start a cardio-conditioning program to slowly return your body to a comfortable level of exercise.
Owner’s Manual: Programs 35 5K Program The 5K course is a great prog r am to run or w alk depending on your level of fitn ess. The distance is fixed at five kilometers (3.1 miles) and the incline is preprogrammed. Y ou can change t he speed and override the preprogrammed incline using the arrow keys.
Owner’s Manual: Programs 36 Calories Goal P r ogram This M9.35i program lets you de signate a fixed calorie goal. W hen you reach your goal , the progr am ends and the automatic 5-minute cool -down period begins. After selecting the Calori es Goal Program, specify your calorie goal in the blinking C AL O R I E display .
Owner’s Manual: Programs 37 During the program, the TI M E display relates to the amount of time remaining in the recorded columns. T ot al elapsed time appears when you record new columns. Note: T he length of the custom progr am and the number of speed and incline settings is limited to available memory in the treadmill.

W hen you reach your goal , the progr am ends and the automatic 5-minute cool -down period begins. After selecting the Distance Goal Program, specify your distance goal in the blinking DI ST ANC E display .
Owner’s Manual: Programs 39 Guidelines Before selecting the Fitness T est, read the following guidelines: • Sit and rest for at least five minutes prior to taking the test to bring your heart rate to a resting state. • The fi tness score is affected by your weight and age.
