Grasp the magazine r ack at its base and slide it up and off the front r amp support cover . Set it a side. Use a long-handle ⁵⁄₃₂ -inch hex key to remove the four fasteners that secure the fron t ramp support cover .
536i Elliptical Fitness Cross Trainer Assembly Guide 6 Install the front ramp support cover . Align the mounts and engage the side clips by pressi ng the front and back cover s together . In sert the four faste ners set aside in step 2. W rench tighten using the lon g-handle ⁵⁄₃₂ -inch hex key .
536i Elliptical Fitness Cross Trainer Assembly Guide 7 C AUTION: A void cross-threading. Make sure the moving arm assembly is well-aligned with the pivot tube before wrench tightening. A ny damage caused during inst allation is not covered by the Precor Limited W arranty.
536i Elliptical Fitness Cross Trainer Assembly Guide 8 Prepare the stabi lizers for inst allation. Insert a clamp (O) into each stabilizer and secur e it loosely with a buttonhead screw (L). Thread a leveler (K) onto each stabilizer. Note: Make sure the nut is fully threaded onto the leveler .
536i Elliptical Fitness Cross Trainer Assembly Guide 9 Unwr ap the lower board cable and remove any kinks. F eed the cable through the c onsole br acket as shown in the illustr ation. Lower the c onsole br acket between the st abilizers and rest the base of the br acket against the two bottom flanges.
536i Elliptical Fitness Cross Trainer Assembly Guide 10 Connect the heart r ate cable to the 4-prong recept ac le on the electronics board. Connect the R J45 cable to its recept acle on the back of the display console. An audible click is heard when the cable is properly attach ed.

Place the top section over the handrail and align the two mounting holes. Position the bas e below th e handr ail and align the slits and mounting pems with the top sectio n.
