This s hould al- low the pin to be near the correc t posi- tion. Further adjust ment may be neces - sary as you m ount the bar.
8 FUELING & LUBRIC ATION FUELING ENGINE This engine is c ertified t o operate on unleaded gasol ine. Bef ore operation, gasoline m ust be m ixed with a good quali ty 2-cycle a ir-co oled engine oil. We recommend FRIGIDA IRE HOME PRODUCTS brand oil .
9 IGNITION SWITCH ON OFF (STAR T) (STOP) OFF FULL CHOKE/FAST IDLE Choke/Fast Idle Lever (SIDE VIEW ) For a warm engine: S Pull the choke/fast idle lever out to the full ext ent; then, push t he choke/ fast idl e lever bac k to the OFF position . This will set the fast idle lock to the start position.
10 CUTTING METHODS IMPORTANT POINTS S Cut wood only. Do not cut metal, plas tic s, masonry, non-wood building mat erials, etc. S Stop the s aw if the chain st rikes a foreign object. I nspect the saw and repai r part s as necess ary. S Keep t he chain out of dirt and s and.

13 BAR MAINTENANCE If your saw c uts to one s ide, has to be forc ed through the cut , or been run with an improper amount of bar lubric ation it may be nec es- sary to serv ice your bar. A worn bar will dam- age your chain and m ake cutting diff icult .
