Your amp can be wired for any voltage. Thi s allows yo u to take y our amp all o ver the w orld and ensure you ’re ready fo r the voltage yo u need.

PHANTOM OWNER’S MANUAL (rev.2) PAGE 6 OF 17 D I A L I N G I N LOW FOCUS The Low Focus knob on the rear p anel is one of the best fe atures on all DA products. This knob lets you focus yo ur low fre quencies and adjust the a mount of l ows relative t o mids a nd highs.

When t he loop is engaged, each Volume co ntrol be comes that Volume/Gain’s effects sen d. PHANTOM OWNER’S MANUAL (rev.2) PAGE 8 OF 17 THE TONE/VOLUME CONTROLS The interplay between the volume and gain dictates your tone mor e than any other controls. So let’s start there. Volume/Gain. As with any amp, t he gain c ontrol dictates t he amount of sa turation, break up or distortion of the channel.

PHANTOM OWNER’S MANUAL (rev.2) PAGE 10 OF 17 Dialing in Channel 1 (Clean) Your clean channel is capable of a huge array o f tones ran ging f rom full, round crystal cleans to vintage classic rock crunch including blues/Texas blue s tones and everything in between.
PHANTOM OWNER’S MANUAL (rev.2) PAGE 11 OF 17 Dialing in Channel 2 (Crunch) You’ll note the Dual Volume/Gain design of Chan nel 2. For the moment, let’s forget about Volume/Gain B. Set them to 0 and forget them. You’re crun ch channel is also capable of pr oducing a range of tone s as well.
PHANTOM OWNER’S MANUAL (rev.2) PAGE 12 OF 17 Start with whichever of these settings is closer to your tone, then tweak the controls one at a time. Until you really get u sed to t he amp, afte r altering on e control, return it to where you started before tweaking the next.

The bias trim pot, in the event you need to adjust bias, is located on the P CB. DIAGNOSING TUBE PROBLEMS Most tube amp p roblems relate to the tubes themselves.
PHANTOM OWNER’S MANUAL (rev.2) PAGE 16 OF 17 or microphon ic tube in this po sition will affect the ent ire amp. Microphonic or noisy tubes in several other positions may not be audible at all. You can try tapping the tubes like you did the power tubes and s ee if t he problem worsens.
