1 This document w ill help you in order to upgrade your Hands-free car kit over Bluetooth . Car k it up grades are needed to improve the compatibili ty of your Parro t device, by allowing you to use more phones with your k i t. It can also allow you to get new functionalities.
2 3. Select Car kits and click Next . ► The follow ing dialog box is displa yed. 4. Select the Parrot 3200L S in the list and click Ne xt . ► The follow ing dialog box is displa yed. 5. Click on Download La test version . ► The Downlo ad Software Update dialog box is displa yed.

Click on Download No w and wai t until the end of the dow nload . ► The download ed files will be stored in C:Program Files Parrot Soft ware Update ToolInternet Files . 2 Upgrading t he Parrot 3200 LS There are three methods to upgrade your Parrot 32 00LS: one b y serial cable (§2 .
4 5. Select the COM por t on w hich you have connected the serial cable and cl ick Next . 6. W he n t he Parrot Soft ware U pdate Tool reache s t he “ XPRAM do wnloading” step , pl ug in the car kit’s powe r supply. 7. W ai t until the end of the upgrade process and clic k on Finish.
5 2.2 By Bluetooth (M ethod A) 2.2.1 Using stack T o shiba Before you begin: • Download the up grade you wish to instal l. • Make sure that your Bl uetooth device is correctly installed on your com puter (refer to its user guid e for additio nal inform ation).
6 4. Enter the same Blu etooth PIN code as the one di splayed on the car kit a nd click OK . ► The Bluetooth serv ices supported by the Pa rrot 3200LS are now listed. 5. Select UPDA TE and click Next . ► An outgoing COM Port is provide d by the Bluetooth softwa re during the connection .
7 6. Launch Parrot Soft ware Update Tool and cli ck Next . 7. Select the Parrot 3200L S and click Next . 8. Get the previously downloaded files by clic king on Browse and cl ick Next .

Select your Parrot 3200L S and clic k Next . ► The follow ing window is display ed. 4. Select Let me choos e my o w n passkey then enter the same Blueto oth PIN code as the one displaye d on the car kit and click Nex t .
10 5. W ait until the connec tion is established then click Finish . 6. An outgoing COM Port i s provided by the Bluetooth so ftware during the connection. In our example the out going COM Port is numbe r 46. W rite this number down, it will be req uired in the P arrot Soft ware Update T ool.
11 12. W ait while the Par rot Software Update Tool is passing the di fferent upgrade steps and Finish . Wait for the automa tic reboot of the k it. Do not stop the po wer source! This operation can ta kes few minutes. ► Your Parrot 3200LS is now up to date .
12 Before you begin: • Make sure that your Blueto oth equipm ent is correc tly installed. • Download the up grade f ile you wish to insta ll. 1. Start the carkit to upgrade: select the Settings menu, then select the S oftware update menu by turnin g the central knob.
