26 User Parameters Y our facsi mile mac h in e has several b asic se t ti ngs (User Parameters) t o help you ke ep records of th e docume nts you se nd or rec eive. For example, the buil t-in cloc k keeps the current d ate and ti me, and y our LOGO and ID Num ber help to identif y you whe n you send or receiv e documen ts.

Receiving Docu ment s 68 If the received document i s extremely long (ov er 39% longe r than the r ecording paper), the doc ument will be divided into separat e pages. When pr inting on s eparate pages, the b ottom 0.4 i n (10 mm) of first page will be overl apped on to p of the nex t page.

Polling 74 In orde r to let othe r stations poll your machi ne, you mus t prepare your machine with a document s tored in mem ory . Be sure to set the polling passw ord before sto ring the docum ent into memor y . After being po lled, the do cuments stor ed in the me mory will be erased au tomatical ly .
