ASUS P8Z77-V LX 3-1 Chapter 3 Chapter 3: BIOS setup Chapter 3 3.1 Knowing BIOS The ASUS UEFI BIOS offers a user-friendly interface that goes beyond traditional keyboard-only BIOS controls to enable more exible and convenient mouse input. Users can easily navigate the UEFI BIOS with the same smoothness as their operating system.
3-2 Chapter 3: BIOS setup Chapter 3 3.2.1 EZ Mode By default, the EZ Mode screen appears when you enter the BIOS setup program. The EZ Mode provides you an overview of the basic system information, and allows you to select the display language, system performance mode and boot device priority .

The other items (Ai T weaker, Advanced, Monitor , Boot, T ool, and Exit) on the menu bar have their respective menu items.

However , BIOS updating is potentially risky . If there is no problem using the current version of BIOS, DO NOT manually update the BIOS .
3-34 Chapter 3: BIOS setup Chapter 3 Updating the BIOS through the Internet 2. Select the ASUS FTP site nearest you to avoid network trafc. If you want to enable the BIOS downgradable function and auto BIOS backup function, check the checkboxs before the two items on the screen.
