12 OPERA TION WITH THE REMO TE CONTR OLLER 1. Operation Check th at the circuit breake r on the power panel is tur ned on. Press the setting buttons as described below and change th e settings as desired. STEP 1 Press the MODE selector button a nd select the de sired mode .

T o canc el, press QUIET button again. • In QUIET Mode, the fan r otates at a slower speed than the fa n speed setting.
16 SPECIAL REMARKS How it w orks? • Once the room temperature reaches the le vel that w as set, the unit’ s operation frequency is changed automatically . • During DRY oper ation, the fan speed automatically runs at lower speed f or providing a comf or table breez e.

19 USING THE 1-HOUR OFF TIMER TIPS FOR ENERGY SA VING 1. 1-Hour OFF Timer This functi on causes the unit to operat e f or one hour and then stop, regard less of whether the unit is on or off when this button is pressed. The indicator in the displa y indicates that this function is operating.
20 ADJUSTING THE AIRFLO W DIRECTION 1. Horizontal The horizontal air flow can be adjusted b y moving the v er tical vanes with y our hands to the left or right. When the humidity is high, the vertical vanes should be in the front position during the cooling or dehumidifyin g operation.

22 CARE AND CLEANING (CONTINUED) Filter The f ilter behind the air intake grille should be check ed and cleaned at least once ev er y two weeks. How to r emove the filte r 1. Grasp both ends of the air intake g rille, and remove it b y opening to wards the front and pulling tow ards you.
