25 Operation Windows Update W indows Update enables you to update W indows on your computer by applying the latest patches and service packs for Windows. Connect the Internet and perform it from [start] - [All programs] - [W indows Update]. Do not apply “Driver Updates” even if a message to update a driver appears.
26 Operation Useful Inf ormation Wireless LAN T o pr event theft of data or unauthorized access to the hard disk via a wir eless LAN. If you plan to use wireless LAN functions, we recommend that you do so only after making the appropriate security settings, such as for encryption.

38 Appendix Hard Disk Backup Function The hard disk backup function creates a backup area (storage area) on the hard disk. This area is to back up (store) hard disk contents or restore backed up contents to their original locations.
