8 Chapter 1 Intr oduction The AJ-SPX800 E video came ra-recorder in tegrates a came ra unit eq ui pped with three CCDs, incorporating a 2 /3-inch on-chip lens f eaturing progr essiv e drive te chnolog y , and a video recorder/p lay er (VTR) that supp or ts D VCPR O50, D VCPRO an d D V f or mats.
9 1 1-2 Recor der/play er Features / Multiple Slots The AJ-SPX800E is equipp ed with fiv e slots f or P2 cards . Up to fiv e cards ma y be inserted in these slots fo r contin uous recording. The y also provi de new record ing capabi lities specifi c to memory cards .

18 2-6 Time Code Sect ion GENLOCK IN connector (BNC) This c onnector i s used to inpu t a refere nce signal bef ore the camer a unit is gen-lock ed, or bef ore the time code is exter nal ly lo cked. TC IN connector (BNC) This con nector is used to input a ref erence tim e code when yo u externally l ock the tim e code .

This phenomenon , how ev er , is a c haracteristic of the le ns or opti cal system.
