- 12 - Charging the battery Important: ≥ Do not use the AC cable wit h any othe r equi pment as it is designed only for th is unit. Al so, do not us e the AC cabl e fro m othe r equip men t with this un it. ≥ It is re commen ded to charge the b attery in a t empera ture be tween 10 o C and 30 o C (50 ° F to 86 °F).
- 13 - Inserting/removing the battery Install the battery by inserting it in the direction shown in the figure. Removing the battery Make sur e that the power switch is set to OF F and th e status in dicator is turn ed off, a nd the n remove by holding o nto it taking ca re not to drop.

- 17 - Inserting/removing an SD c ard Caut ion: Check that th e acc ess lamp has go ne of f. 1 Open the SD card slot cover and insert (remove) the SD card into (from) the card slot B . ≥ One SD car d can be i nserted into each of t he card slo t 1 and th e card slot 2.

- 37 - Use the image stabilizer to reduce the effects of shak e during recording. This unit is equipped with Hybrid Optical Image S tabilizer . Hybrid Optical Image S tabilizer is a hybrid of optical and electric al image stabilizer .
- 38 - Perfor m focus adju stments us ing the focus rin g. If auto f ocusing is difficult d ue to th e cond itions, then use Manua l Focus. ≥ Switch to Man ual Mode. ( l 33 ) 1 Press the FOCUS A/M/ ¶ b utton to sw itch to Manual Focu s. ≥ It will switch to MF from AF.
