2 Setting Up Y our SnapNT ype Keyboard Installing the SnapNT ype Keyboard Software Before installing the SnapNT ype software, please make sure that: 1) Y ou have disabled all other keyboard software installed in your Palm handheld 2) Y ou have performed a HotSync ® function to backup all data.

5 Using Y our SnapNT ype Keyboard The SnapNT ype software driver has an advanced automatic enable/disable function. The driver will enable itself once you connect the SnapNT ype keyboard to your Palm handheld. When you disconnect the SnapNT ype keyboard, the driver will automatically disable itself.
6 Using Y our SnapNT ype Keyboard (continued) T yping Numbers and Symbols T o type one number or symbol: press once. The next key you press will r egister as the number or symbol printed in orange on the top of the key . T o type a block of numbers or symbols: press and hold .
7 Using Y our SnapNT ype Keyboard (continued) Navigation Keys The navigation keys enable you to quickly relocate the cursor on your Palm handheld. The following table lists available navigation key commands.

They will replace the buttons on your Palm that were cover ed by the keyboard. There ar e four differ ent functions assigned to each button, you can activate differ ent function by: 1.

10 Configuring the SnapNT ype Software Y ou can customize various features of the SnapNT ype program to best suit your application. T o start the SnapNT ype configuration program, tap the “SnapNT ype” icon on your Palm handheld. General Configuration Enable —this will allow the SnapNT ype to accept key input.
