If any of the items are missing or damaged, contact your local distributor . Also be sure that y ou ha v e all the necessar y cabling before installing the ADSL Router.
I NSTALLATIO N 2-2 System Requirements Y ou must meet the following minimum requirements: • ADSL line installed by your Internet Se rvice Provider. • A PC usi ng a fi xed IP ad dress or dynamic IP addres s assigne d via DHCP, as well as a gateway server address and DNS server address from your service provider.

SETUP WIZ ARD 4-3 SETUP WIZARD Channel and SSID Click on “SETUP WIZARD” and “NEXT”, then y ou will see the Channel and SSID page. Click “NEXT” to contin ue . Parameter Description ESSID Extended Service Set ID. The ESSID must be the same on the ADSL Router and all of its wireless clie nts.

This will automatically configure the ADSL Router with the cor rect Protocol, Encapsulatio n and VPI/V CI settings for your ISP . T o configure this function, yo u need to enable the wir eless func tion, define the radio c hannel, the domain identifier, and the security options .

C ONFIGURING THE ADSL R OUTER 4-42 URL Blocking The ADSL Router allows the user to bloc k access to w eb sites by enter ing either a full URL address or just a ke yw ord. T his feature can be used to protect children from accessing vi olent or pornog raphic web sites .
