1 Place your finger in the recess at the bo ttom of the device, and carefully lift and open the back cover (1). 2 Insert the SIM card. Make sure the contac t area of the card is facing down (2). 3 Line up the contacts of the battery and the battery comp artment, an d insert the battery (3).

Co ntact wit h antennas affects the communication qu ality and may reduce battery life due to hi gher power level during operation.
3 When the phone indicates a full charge, disconnect the char ger from the phone, then from the wall outlet. You do not need to charge the battery f or a specific length of ti me, and you can use the phone while it is charging.

Calls are limited to a closed user group. The currently active profile is timed. A headset is connected to the phone. The phone is connected to another device, using a USB data cable. Power saving Your device has power sa ver and sleep mode features to save battery power when in the home screen, and no keys are pressed .

Multimedia m essages A multimedia message ca n contain text , pictures, and sound or video clips. Only compatible device s can receive and display multimedia me ssages. Messages may look different in different devices. If the item you insert in a multimedia mess age is too large for th e network , the device may automatica lly reduce the size.
Service providers may charge differently de pending on the mess age type. For details, contact your service provider. Conversation view Your device supports conversational messag ing vi ew. This feature displays text and multimedia messages received fr om and sent to a contact as a conversation.
To check if this messaging sy stem is available, select Menu > Mail . This feature is not available in all countries. For details, contact your service provider. Voice messages The voice mailbox is a network service to which you may need to subscribe.
Search for a contact Select Names . Scroll through the list of contacts, or enter the first characters of the contact's name. Copy a contact betw een t he device memory and SIM ca rd Select Names , scroll to the contact, and select Option s > More > Copy contact .
Fast-forward the curre nt song Press and hold the scroll key to the right. Adjust the volume Scroll up or down. Mute or unmute the music player Press the ctrl key. Leave the music player playing in the background Press the end key. Close the music player Press and hold the end key.
