1. Starting PhonePilot Select PhonePilot in “Menu” to start it. If you configure PhonePilot to auto run, PhonePilot will start aut omaticall y when your phone is turned on every time.
2. Main View When PhonePilot is running, there are se ven sub vi ews in main view , inclu ding: profiles, voice responses, managing lists, SMS templates, message box, scheduler and dialog mon itor views. When a sub view get focused (highlighted), pressing key “S elect” or selecting “Open” from menu will open the selected sub view .
Answering machine timeou t: The maximum duration of a voice message that incom ing callers can leave. PhonePilot w ill play “sorry prompt” t hen hang up i ncoming calls automatically once timed out.
3. Profiles view In profiles view , you can add, modify , delete and activate saved profiles. A profile is use d for storing various pre-defined responses correspon ding to differ ent groups to meet your di f ferent demands in many situations.
- Edit rule: Edit the focused rule. Y ou can edit a rule by pressing phone’s “Select” key . - Add additional rules: W hen adding a new profile, you can only divide callers up to three grou p s including, callers on phone book/list, callers not in above lists and private numbers.

5. Black/White Lists view Here you can define custom lists used by profiles view to divide incoming callers. 5-1 Lists list v iew an d menu This view shows all your custom lists. When a lis t get focused (highlig hted), available menu items include: New list: Create a new custom list.
6. SMS Templates view Y ou can create some texts as SMS templates her e. T hen you can im port texts from these pre-defined SMS templates when the selected response is “B usy +Send SMS” in profile rule edit mode. 6-1 SMS templates list and menu This view shows all your predefine d SMS templa tes.
7. Message Box view This view shows all voice message s that incoming callers left and recorded conversations of both parties. Each pane are explained as fellows: a. Left side icon indicates whether the voice messag e is generated by voice response’s “Answer machine” or “Reco rd conversation”, and w hether it is heard .
8. Scheduler view Scheduler can activate assigned profil es. F or example, you can let scheduler activate a specific profile during a fixed perio d and periodically activate another pr ofile everyday to meet y our dif ferent demands at different time.
- St art date: T he date scheduled to activate profile. This edit item is available only w hen schedule type is “one time”. - St art time: T he time scheduled to activate profile. Unit is minute. - End date: The date scheduled to de- activate profile.
9. Dialog Monitor view Y ou can monitor all interactions between PhonePil ot and incoming callers here, includi ng: callers’ names, PhonePi lot’ s responses like sending busy tone, repl ying a SMS, diverting calls and recording call conversation.
10. Examples of applications A ccept all incoming calls, accept callers from phonebook and reject all incoming calls In profiles view , activate one of pre-defi ned prof iles, “Accept all”, “Accept phonebook” or “Reject all”.
