Messages If you have subscribed to a messaging se rvic e through yo ur wireless provider, y ou can send and receiv e text messages to compati ble phones that al so subscribe to a compatible mes sage service. Messages 33 • Auto-playback of sounds —Automatically plays bac k any attac hed sounds in the messa ge. When the me ssage memory is full, your phone cannot send or rece ive any new messages. Settings 39 Automatic r edial Occasion ally, your netw ork may experie nce heavy tra ffic, which results in a fast busy signal when you dial. With autom atic redial activated, your phone re dials the numbe r up to three time s, and notifies you onc e the network is available.

Voice 57 ■ V oice rec order This fea ture allows you to record spee ch or soun d with your de vice and liste n to them later. The total available time is 30 s econds if no memos have been stored. The maximum length of a reco rding depends on how much memo ry remains available .
Organizer 58 12. Organizer Your device contains feature s to help organize your everyda y life, including an alarm clock, calendar, c alculator, c oun tdown timer, and stopwatch. ■ Alarm clock Set an alar m The alarm clock is based on the device clock.
