66 Shooting Features F ocusing on Subject The focus area or focus range varies depending on the shooting mode. • In A (auto) mode, focus area can be set by selecting AF area mode ( A 62) in the shooting menu.
67 Focusing on Subject Shooting Features Using Face Detection In the following settings, the camera uses fa ce detection to automatically foc us on human faces. If the camera detects more than one face , a double border is displayed around the face that the camera will focus on, and single borders are displayed around the other faces.
