Setup wizard 18 Setup w izard Setting up the s y stem The setup wizar d guides you through the necessary b sic s y stem settings. The D VR is then set up f or recording and surveillance. Note All detailed sett ings can be found in the de vice menu (s ee overview on page 3 1).

PTZ control 28 PTZ Settings The following set tings are n ecessar y on the PTZ cam era: The settings ar e used for c onfiguring the cam era on th e corresponding co nnections. 1. Select the instal led cam era. 2. Enter the data of the connec ted camera.
PTZ control 29 Tour Settings Patrols are def ined tours f rom position to pos ition that ar e accessed in se quence on t he PTZ cam era. The individual positions are pres ets, which s hould be set as detailed above.
PTZ control 30 Pattern Settings Patterns are def ined tours fr om position to pos ition that are accessed i n sequence on th e PTZ cam era. Patterns are recorded l ive. The s ystem saves the par ameters used whilst you move and adj ust the cam eras in se- quence to the corr espondin g positions at a def ined speed.

Manual Alarm Note The menu is used to check the recording setti ngs in the event of an alarm , to trigger alarm outputs manuall y and to test the settings. You can the n check and correct your setti ngs in the pla yback screen. 1. Select the cam era by click ing the correspon ding line.
