Connect the positi ve signal of the signal source to the positive input signal terminal (HI) and the negati ve signal of the signa l source to the negati ve input signal terminal (LO).

NI 9219 Operating Instructions 10 ni.com Wiring TEDS Cha nnels The NI 9219 supports only Class II TEDS sensors. Connect th e two TEDS lin es to TEDS Data (T+) and TEDS COM (T–) and ensure that neither T+ nor T– is tied in common to an y of the signal inputs (terminals 3 through 6) on the NI 9219.

The current is computed from the v oltage that the ADC measures across an interna l shunt resistor .
NI 9219 Operating Instructions 14 ni.com 4-Wire Resistance and 4-Wire RTD Modes 4-W ire Resistance and 4-W ire R T D modes source a current, which va ries based on the resistance of the load, between the EX+ and EX– terminals. The me asured resistance is computed from the resulting v oltage readi ng.
