Multi-Tech Systems, Inc. 9 Chapter 2 – Installing and Cabling the MultiVOIP Introduction The MVP210 MultiVOIP models are tabletop units tha t can be handled easily by one person. However, the MVP410 and MVP810 MultiVOIPs are somewhat hea vier units.

Connect the power cord supplied with your Mult iVOIP to the power connector o n the back of the MultiVOIP and to a live AC outlet as shown in the figure below.

Setting values for telephony and IP parameters that w ill fit your system (details are in Cha pter 4).

There are a few necessary settings that need to be entered in the conf iguration software to achieve this and they are noted in the action lists for the categories below.

In that case, that local VOIP removes 1763 and dials 9 to direct the call to its local 7-digit PSTN.
