When you write on the writ ing pad, your handwriting c onverts to digital ink.

The more you write, the quicker y our handwriting is recognized because the J3600 has an automatic learning tool that collec ts data about the words you use and how you write them.

The buttons a re customiz able, so you can modify their functions to sui t th e way you wo rk .

The JPEG format camera ha s a maximum resolution of 2048x1 536 pixels, which suppor ts tak ing photos and capturing video.

T ake a photo , close the viewfinder , then th e photo appears where your cursor is located in the application.

Check the c olor of the batte ry gauge button for the curr ent status : Steady gr een —Battery is fully charged a nd the T ablet PC is running on AC power .
Chapter 2 Using your J3600 Using the battery 52 T o check the battery status from the battery: • Locate the battery gauge button and indicato r lights on the back of the T ablet PC. The indicator lights show the remaining charge . Each light repr esents appro ximately 20% of a full charge.
Chapter 2 Using your J3600 Using the battery 53 Removing and replacing the J3600 battery Y ou can r emove the ba ttery to check the remain ing power or r eplace it with a fully charged battery. T o remo ve the battery: 1. Ensure that the T ablet PC is pl ugge d into A C power or turned off .
Chapter 2 Using your J3600 Using the battery 54 Hot swapping the batter y Changing a batt ery while the T ablet PC is in use and running on batter y power is called “hot swapping. ” Y o u can hot swap a battery only if you have a second char ged battery to replace the battery that is low on power .

After enr olling as an Omni Pa ss user , you use OmniP ass to secur e files, applications, and websites by requiring a fingerprint swipe.

Slide the smart card into th e slot, with the metal contacts of the embedded chip facing the top of the T ablet PC, until the card is firmly se ated in the r eader .

T IP : If a keyboard is attached, you can press F2 to open the Setup Utility t hen press the arrow keys to select items and press Enter to select a submenu.
