Opening and closing 26 Opening In some market-specific versions, the splitdoor cannot be unlocked using the remote co ntrol unless the vehic le is unlocked first. Only drive with the spl itdoor fully closed; other- wise, the tail lamps will be obscured and driving safety will be compromised.

Adjustments 34 Seat heating* Switching on Press once for each temperature level. Three LE Ds indicate the highest temperature. If you continue driving within the next 15 min- utes, the seat hea ting is a utomatical ly activated at the previously set temperature.

Fold the lever down. 2. Move the steering wheel to the preferre d distance and ang le to suit your seated posi tion.

Open th e belt buckle. 2. Remov e the child restraint system. 3. Allo w the safety belt strap to retract al l the way .

Exhaust ga ses contain carbon mon- oxide, an odorless and colorless, but highly toxic gas.

Driving 44 If you do not sh ift gears with the shift padd les or accelerate for a ce rtain amount of time, the transmission auto matically returns to D , auto- mat i c dr iv e. > Pull one of the shift padd les. Transmission shifts up. > Push one of the shift paddles.

Climate 76 Cooling function When the cooling fu nction is on, the air is cooled, dried, then reheated accordi ng to the temper- ature setting. This function is only available while the engine is running. The cooling func tion helps prevent condensa- tion on the windo ws or removes it quickly.
