This unit is designed to operate on AC household current or DC (batteries). AC Use the AC polarized line cord included with the unit for operation on AC power . Insert one end of the AC line cord into the AC jack on the rear of the unit and the other end (with the 2 blades) into a conveniently located AC outlet having 120V , 60Hz.
OPERA TION 8 Slide the Function switch to the AM or FM position to turn the unit on and select AM or FM; the POWER ON indicator will light. 1 1 1 T une a desired station by turning the TUNING control. The frequencies are located on the AM/FM dial scale.

Press the PLA Y/P AUSE ( ® / p ) button again to pause playback; the track number will blink and the PLA Y/PROG indicator will turn off.
OPERA TION (CONTINUED) 10 When the disc is through playing, it will stop rotating. Press the STOP ( ■ ) but- ton to stop the disc before it is finished.
