If the provided plug does not fit into your outlet, consult an electrician for replacement of the obsolete outlet.

6 Inst allation Caution: The MC1201 Amplifier weight is 147 pounds (66.7 kilograms). It requires two or more persons to safely handle when moving the amplifier . The MC1201 can be placed upright on a table or shelf, standing on its four feet. The four feet may be removed from the bottom of the MC1201 when it is custom installed as outlined below .

11 How to Operate the MC1201 How to Operate the MC1201 Power On T o have the MC1201 automatically turn On or Of f when a control center turns on or of f, rotate the power switch to the remote position. For manual op- eration, rotate the power switch to the On or Off position as de- sired.

A McIntosh amplifier with an Autoformer can be used to safely drive multiple speakers without re- ducing the life expectancy of the power amplifier .

19 Packing Instructions In the event it is necessary to repack the equipment for shipment, the equipment must be packed exactly as shown below . It is very important that the four feet are attached to the bottom of the equipment. This will ensure the proper equipment location on the bottom foam pad.
