Cautions On Batteries • Use “ AA ” (R6P) batteries in this remote control unit. • Replace the batteries with new ones appro ximately once a year , though this depends on the frequency with which the remote control unit is used.

– 18 – EN PLA YING A DISC During playbac k, press the ST OP button. • Resume message will appear on the TV screen. Press the PLA Y button, pla y- back will resume from the point at which pla yback was stopped. • T o cancel Resume, press the ST OP button twice.
Press the ZOOM button repeatedly to select the required zoom f actor : x2, x4 or off . • Only x2 zoom is a vailable on Video CDs, JPEG and DivX ® . Use the Cursor b uttons ( L / K / B / s ) to move the zoomed picture across the screen. T o e xit Zoom mode, press the ZOOM button.

Refer to page 31 f or SLIDE SHOW . • Every press on the Cursor button ( B ) will turn the image clockwise b y 90 degrees when an image is dis- play ed.
– 24 – EN PLA YING A DISC Press the DISPLA Y button during playbac k. • The name of the file currently play ed will be display ed. <Example: MP3> Press the DISPLA Y button again to show the trac k num- ber , the elapsed time (MP3 and DivX ® ), the repeat status, and the pla yback status at the top of the screen.

– 26 – EN PLA YING A DISC Some D VD discs contain scenes which have been shot simulta- neously from various angles. Y ou can change the Camera Angle when the mark ( ) appears on the screen. Press the ANGLE button during pla yback. • The selected angle will be display ed on the display bar at the top of the screen.

Choose the appropriate Audio Setting f or your equipment as it only affects during the pla yback of D VD discs of the D VD play er . Press the SETUP button in stop mode . Press the Cursor buttons ( s or B ) to select CUS- T OM, then press the ENTER button.

Press the Cursor buttons ( s or B ) to select P ARENT AL, then press the ENTER button. Press the Numeric b uttons to enter your 4-digit pass word. • When doing this for the first time , enter any 4-digit number b y pressing the Numeric buttons (except f or 4737), then press the ENTER button.
