7 T UNER M ODE C ONTROL T he T uner Mode allows you to change the LCD TV’ s signal input to Cable or Air (antenna). It’ s impor tant for the LCD TV to know if you w ant to receive channels from a cable TV signal or an antenna signal. Press the MENU but ton to see the onscreen menu .
8 A UT O P ROG RA M (S ETTING U P C HANNELS ) Y our LCD TV can automa tically set i tself for local area (or cable TV ) c h annels. 24 C LOSED C APTIONS C losed Capt ioning (CC ) allows you to read the voice content of television p rogr ams on the T V screen. Designed to help t he hearing impair ed , this featur e uses onscreen “tex t box e s” to show dialogue and co n vers atio ns while the T V progr a m i s in pro gress.
Press POWER to turn on the unit. Press the SOURCE button repeatedly to select DVD. Press OK button to confirm. Insert a disc into the disc slot, with the label side facing to yourself. The unit begins to read the disc. Pr ess PLAY( ) to pla y the disc .

29 Audio Langua ge W hile playing a D VD disc with m ultiple audio languages , you can c hange the audio language. Pr ess AUDIO button r epeatedl y to select the desired audio language . Audio Channel Y ou can also c hange the audio c hannel output fr om a multi-channel D VD or CD disc .
While disc is pla ying, press to pla y in fa st -fo rwa rd mode . Each time you press the button, the speed changes as follows: 2 X 4X 8X 16X 32X Normal Playback. While disc is pla ying, press to pla y in fa st -rever se mode. Each time you press the button, the speed changes as follows: 2 X 4X 8X 16X 32X Normal Playback.
Repeat Pla y T his function can be used to r epeatedly play a title , c hapter , tr ac k, or a whole disc . T o Repeat a Title , Cha pter or Disc Press REP EA T button repeatedly to select the followings: CHAPTER: repeats the cur rentl y pla ying chapter .
Select Subtitles T his oper ation works only with discs with m ultiple subtitle languages recor ded. Press SUBTITLE button repeatedl y until the desired language is selected. Press SUBTITLE button until the scr een shows "TURN OFF SUBTITLES".
33 Pr ess P .MODE button to select shuffle or random pla y mode when a disc is playing. T o cancel shuffle or random playback, press button twice. Shuffle (Random) Pla y T he unit can play DVD chapters or audio tr ac ks in random or der . The or der is different eac h time.
34 Pro gram Pla y T o use the pr o gr am playbac k feature , you m ust enter the order in whic h you w ant the titles (and chapter s) on the D VD or the trac ks on the CD to play by creating a pr o gr am.
35 Pr ess P .MODE button until t he scr een sho ws: Use the number buttons on the r emote to enter the track number y ou want to pla y first. The track number enter ed appears in the bo x. The example: T o program track 8 of a CD to pla y first, enter 8, and the scr een shows: Continue adding tracks until your program is complete .
