6 MR8mk2 MR8mk2 Rear Panel Description 2. INPUT LEVEL The MR8mk2 expects a line-level signal at its input. Use this control to adjust the sensitivity of the input section according to the signal strength at its input. • The MR8mk2 is designed to operate with a +4 dBu signal when the input level control is in the max position.

When the power switch is turned on and the MR8mk2 is plugged into an AC outlet, the power LED on the front of the monitor lights up to let you know the MR8mk2 is ready to go.
8 MR8mk2 MR8mk2 Protection Circuits Input Signal Wiring Y ou should use high-quality , shielded cable to connect the signal source to the signal input jack [1] on the MR8mk2. • For balanced signals, foil shielded cables, such as Belden 8451, 8761, or 9501 are commonly used for studio wiring.
