ENGLISH Connecting The first stage in setting up your AKURA TE KONTROL is to connect your sources, power amplifier(s) and other peripheral devices to the AKURA TE KONTROL. 1. Ensure your AKURA TE KONTROL and all components that you will be connecting to it are disconnected fr om the mains power supply .
ENGLISH 6 AKURA TE KONTROL Speaker setup S S I I Z Z E E Accesses the SPEAKER SIZE sub-menu. For all loudspeakers in your system (except a subwoofer) you must inform the AKURA TE KONTROL whether the loudspeakers are LARGE or SMALL. These terms refer to the fr equency response of the loudspeakers, not to their physical size.

Using the AKURA TE KONTROL with a Linn AKURA TE CD player If an AKURA TE CD is being used as a two-channel (stereo) source, simply connect the AKURA TE CD’ s FRONT A or B analogue line outputs to the AKURA TE KONTROL ’ s 1/FRONT ANALOGUE AUDIO INPUTS (the AKURA TE KONTROL is factory configured for an AKURA TE CD to be connected to this input).

Recor d function The recor d function allows you to route an audio signal thr ough the AKURA TE KONTROL to a recording device such as a DA T recorder . The table below details the routing capabilities of the AKURA TE KONTROL. T o set a r ecor d path: • Press S S H H I I F F T T , then R R E E C C O O R R D D (‘8’ key) on the handset.
Notes on the list of sources: NO SOURCE: No recor d path will be set. KNEKT : When a recor d path on the AKURA TE KONTROL is being used, this setting will allow users of a KNEKT Line Driver system to change the source they ar e listening to (which also changes the recor d path).
