PREFACE iv SWITCHING THE PRODUCT ON AND OFF – STANDBY OPERATION The AV 5105 contains circuitry which senses the presence of an audio signal and powers up the product. The AV5105 will automatically switch to standby mode after a few minutes if no input signal is present.

CONNECTING THE AV 5105 STEREO POWER AMPLIFIER 9 CONNECTIONS AUDIO INPUTS Audio inputs to the AV5105 are RCA phono. There are two input sockets per channel, electrically in parallel. This makes it easy to daisy chain multi-amplier systems. Simply loop from one amplier to the next one.

The signal sense circuitry automatically switches the power amplier to standby after a few minutes if no input signal is present, and the front panel indicator changes from green to red.
