To check for proper flam e sensor oper ation, connect a di gital multim eter (capable of meas uring D. C. m icroamperes) in series between the flam e sensor wire (n orm ally connected t o terminal #4) and term inal #4.

Refer to t he next possi ble cause. Check the leads to the m otor for evidenc e of an y shorts or ope ns, and eac h lead to gro und.

If voltage is pr esent, check for output vo ltage from the transf ormer sec ondary.
