The backlight turns off when no k eys are pre ssed within a giv en period of time, depending on the Backlight Timer setting.

69 Switching off the Micr ophone (Mute) During a call, y ou can temporarily switch your phone’s micr ophone off , so that the other person cannot hear you. B Press Mute soft k ey during a call. The other person will not be able to he ar you. The Mute icon will be displayed at the t op left of the screen.
