5 Printing f r om paper tra y 1 F rom p aper tra y 1 , you can pr int o n any suppor ted paper t ype, such as pl ain, coated , photo , or glossy pa per , transparenc ies, env elopes, labels, iron- on transfers , or ban ner paper.

14 Is your pr inter co nnected to your compute r through an external device, such as a USB hub , switch box, scan ner , or fax machin e? If not , see “ Setup tr oubleshootin g ” on page 15 for help . If it is, follow these st eps: 1 Disconne ct your pr inter from any exter nal devices.

17 Mak e su re: • Y ou com pletely rem oved t he sticker and transparent tape from the back and bot tom of both pr int car tridges. • Y ou inst alled the blac k car tridge (P/N 82) in the left carrier and the color cartr i dge (P/N 83 or 88) in the right carrier .

21 Make sure y our printer is selected in Chooser: a F r om the Apple menu, choose Chooser . b In the left window , highlight the Lexmark Z65 printer icon. If your printer is not listed, install the printer sof tware (see page 25). c In the Connect to: box, highl ight the Le xmar k Z65 printer icon.
