Explanation of Har d Disk Capacity Dear user, While using your compute r , you may discover that the n ominal hard d isk capacity indic ated is somew hat different from the disk capac ity displayed by the operat ing system. For examp le, a nomin al 80GB hard disk will a ppear a s less than 8 0GB in the operating sys tem.
If a portion of the hard disk space has been used for some specific purpose, then the capacity ind icated by the operating s ystem will be even less tha n X × 0.
