18 MANUAL TIME SETTING: You then may manually set the time of the clock by follow ing the steps below : 1. The hour digi t will start flashing . 2. Use the + or MIN/MA X key to set the hour. 3. Press the SET key to switch to the minutes. T he minute digit will start flashing .

22 RELATIVE PRESSURE REFERENCE VALUE SETTING Note: The default reference pressure v alue of th e barome ter is 29.91inHg when batteries are first inserted. For an exact measu rement, it is necessary to first adjust the barometer to y our local relative a ir pressure (related to elevation above sea level) .
23 Note: This feature is useful for those who live at elev ations abov e sea level, but want their air pressure display to be ba sed on sea lev el elevation. WEATHER TENDENCY SENSITIVITY LEVEL SETTING You may select a d efinite sw itching sensitiv ity value, .
24 STORM WARNING THRESHOLD VALUE SETTING You may also defin e a switching sensitivity value for the storm warning di splay at a decrease of air pre ssure from .09 inHg to .27 i nHg over 6 hours (Default 0.15 inHg). 1. The sensitivity value will start flashing .
25 A larm-On icon Note: In case a storm warning alarm is ac tivated, the dow nward weather tenden cy arrow w ill be flashing. (Also see WEATHER TENDENCY INDICATOR below) TO EXIT THE MANUAL SETTING MODE To exit the manual setting anytime dur ing the manual se tting modes, pres s the ALARM key (or HISTORY key) or wait for the automati c timeout.
26 4. Press the + or MIN/ MAX key to set the minute of th e alarm time. Press the ALARM key to con firm. Wait for abou t 30 seconds and the display w ill return to normal display mode au tomatically. 5. In the normal display mode, press the ALARM once key to go to the time alarm setting mode again.
27 The Weather Center can be set to alert when a specific weather condition is reached. The follo wing Weather A larm setting s can be adjuste d in the A LARM setting mode.

29 2. Press and hold the SET key for ab out 2 seconds. The temperature digit w ill start f lashing . P r ess the + or MIN/ MAX key to set the high outdoor temp alarm value. (Keep holding th e key w ill allow the value to increase faster.) 3. Press the ALARM key to co nfirm the settin g.
30 HIGH AND LOW OUTDOOR HUMIDITY ALARM SETTING Note: The High and Low outdoor humidity alarm can be set On/Off independen tly according to your needs. Set the Outdoor temperature alarm value (High or Lo w alarm value): 1. In the normal di splay mode, press the ALARM key 4 times.
31 6. Press the ALARM key to co nfirm the settin g. The digit will stop fla shing. Press the SET key to switch on or o ff the alarm. (The sh owing of the i con ((( y ))) means that the alar m is switched on.) 7. Press the HISTORY key or w ait for about 30 seconds and the display w ill return to normal display mode automatically.
32 4. Press the ALARM key once to r eturn to the normal display mode. In case the wind speed exceed s the condition for high wind speed alarm, the value will be flashing, along w ith the corresp onding high alarm icon ("HI AL"). And the buzzer will ring for 2 minutes.
33 WEATHER FORECAST AND WEATHER TENDENCY WEATHER FORECASTING ICONS: Weather forecasting icons i s displayed in any of the following combination s at the right bottom part of LCD: For every sudden o r significant change in the air pressure , the weather icons will update accordingly to represent the change in w eather.
34 However, if the icon displayed is a sun or raining cloud, there will be no change of icon if the weather gets any better (with s unny icon) or worse (w ith rainy icon) since the icons are alrea dy at their ex tremes.
35 WEATHER TENDENCY INDICATOR Working together w ith the w eather icons is the weather tendency indicators (arrow located on the le ft and right sides o f the weather i cons).
36 The horizontal axis represents the last 12 hour s air pre ssure recording (-12, -9, - 6, -3 and 0 hour). The bars are plotted at each of the 5 steps and give the trend over the recorded period. Th e scale on the right compare s the result. The "0" in the mid dle of this scale determin es the current air p ressure.

Should the unit be moved, for instance from the ground to the second floor of the house, the readings for the next 12-24 hours shall be discarded . WIND DIRECTION AND WIND SPEED MEASUREMENT In normal display mode, the second section of the LCD show s the following wind da ta.
38 RAINFALL MEASUREMENT The total rainfall measurement is displ ayed in the fourth secti on of the LCD, in th e unit of mm or inch. (see VIEWING THE MIN/MAX WEATHER DA TA below) VIEWING THE HISTORY DA.
39 Afterwards, you sh ould avoid changin g the pre-set time as i t will also al ter the recorded "time of re cording" of each histo ry record, w hich may lead to co nfusion. To view the weather history: 1. Press the HISTORY key. The late st weather record will be show n with the da te and time of recording.
40 2. Press MIN/ MA X to view older record s. (Press MIN/ MAX and + key to view "P revious" and "Next" record respectively. The records are ma de at 3-hour intervals) Note: • The stored history record s will not be r etained after ba ttery change or w henever battery is remov ed.

45 9. Maximum wind speed RESET THE MIN/MAX WEATHER DA TA To reset the aforementioned MIN /MAX weather data 1. to 9., y ou shall need to reset each of the data independently.
46 2. Press and hold the SET key for about 2 seconds, then the "RESET" i con will appear at the botto m part of the LCD. 3. Press the + key on ce, then the stored value w ill be reset to the current value and current time. 4. Press the ALARM key to return to norm al display mode.
47 To reset the rainfall reading, press the + key once when the Rainfall v alue and "Reset" icon is shown. The n the total rainfa ll amount will be reset to 0 , and the time updated to current time. Note: After power up, the time and date and total rainfall is di splayed as "- - -".
48 To re-enable the bu zzer: 1. When the BUZZER OFF icon is shown on LCD, press the SET key shortly and the BUZZER OFF icon will disapp ear. 2. Press ALARM key once to return to th e normal display mode. The "BUZZER OFF" icon will no longer be shown.
49 OUTDOOR SENSOR 915 MHz R ECEPTION The outdoor temperature, humidity , wind data and rainfall are transmi tted from the thermo-hygro sens or about every 4.5 second s. The Weather Center will then be synchronized to the thermo-hygro sen sor to receive ou tdoor data.

51 1. Fix a screw (not su pplied) int o the desired w all, leaving th e head extended out the by about 5mm. 2. Hang the Weather Center onto the screw. Remember to ensure that it locks into place befor e releasing.
52 An ideal mounting place for the the rmo-hygro sensor w ould be the outer w all beneath the extension of a roof, as this w ill prot ect the sensor from direct sunligh t and other extreme weather conditions.
53 Firstly, check that the wind-fan and th e wind-vane can rotate freely before fix ing the unit. For correct a nd accurate reading s it is importan t to m ount the sensor so that the front (marked E) is pointing in Ea st-West direction.
54 After mounting the rain sensor , conne ct the cable to the thermo-hy gro sensor at the corresponding so cket so power su pply can be rece ived and data be transmitted to the base center The rain sensor i s now operable. For testing p urposes, very slow ly pour a small amount of clean water into the rain sensor fun nel.
