Y ou must hav e at least a part ial charge in the bat tery to mak e or receiv e calls, regard less of whether or not the AC adapter is c onnected to the p hone.

Answering a call When a call comes in, t he phone rings, vibr ates or lights up , and a danci ng phone icon appears. Th e nu mber of the caller also appears if not restric ted.

24 Making and Answering Calls Finding a phone number If y ou hav e already sav ed a phone number , y ou can find it quickly by pressing down. This brings up a list of frequent contacts, f ollowed by a complete list of all sa ved cont acts. Scroll down t he list, find th e one y ou want, an d press to dial the nu m ber .

26 Making and Answering Ca lls Silencing an incoming call If you need to silence a n incoming call quickly , press , then press to answer the c all. This action silen ces the curr e nt call only . The next call will ring as normal . Adjust ing the v olume du ring a call T o adjust t he earpiece volu m e manually duri ng a call, press up or down.

When voice priv acy is ac tiv ated during a c all, you will see a message and a on your sc reen.
