4 1. Introduction Max. 8mm Front and rear panel Front panel 1 Type knob This knob selects the type of Drive Amp effect that will be used. 2 Value knobs For each effect, these knobs adjust the values of the param- eters assigned to the knobs. From the left, these are referred to as value knobs 1—5.
5 2. Playing the AX100G The modes of the AX100G The AX100G is divided into three modes: Program mode , Effect Select mode , and Phrase T rainer mode . Program mode In this mode you can select programs and use the AX100G for normal performance. Use the foot switches ( UP , DOWN ) to select programs.

Playing the AX100G Example display Program mode When you turn on the power , the AX100G will always enter Pro- gram mode , and will be set to the program setting that were last selected when the power was turned off. Input level switch setting Set this switch according to the output of your instrument.
7 2. Playing the AX100G Rhythm Press the RHYTHM switch (the LED will light) and the r hythm will begin playing. Use value knob 1 to select the r hythm pattern (50 types), use value knob 2 to adjust the tempo (range: 40—208), and use value knob 3 to adjust the r hythm level (range: 0—30).
8 2. Playing the AX100G Phrase T rainer mode In this mode, you can record a phrase fr om an audio device (CD or MD) connected to the AUX IN jack, and play it back repeat- edly as a loop. Then you can practice a phrase on your guitar while playing to the repeating phrase.
9 3. Editing 3. Editing In Program mode and Effect Select mode, you can edit each effect, adjust the noise reduction and pr o- gram level, and modify the program name. During editing, the edit icons in the multi-display and the LEDs beside the select switches for each ef- fect will blink.
