Unpack Pr inter and Instal l C ontrol Panel 1 3 a) See box flaps for unpacking instructions. Remo ve all orang e shipping tape from the printer . c) Pr ess down on all edges of the ov erlay until it snaps into position.

Install Printhead 3 c) Pull on the orang e tab to remov e the protectiv e retainer . b) Remo ve the printhead fr om its bag. IMPORT ANT : Insert the printhead immediately upon opening sealed bag. IMPORT ANT : The printhead is fr agile. Handle carefully .
f) P ush firmly against the back wall of the printhead until it clicks into place. T ip: The printhead requir es a firm push and makes an audible click when lock ed into place. e) Place the printhead into the carriage. Insert at the angle shown. d) Carefully r emove and discar d the black plastic shield and the orang e protective cap .
