If you use a computer , Kodak dental imaging software is required to view images.

Capture W indow The Capture window icon is located in the upper-l eft corner of the screen . Across the bot tom of the wind ow is a series of still thumbnail images of the entire exam.

18 Chapter 3 Getting Started Inserting the Cable into a Wir ed Camera T o inser t the cable into a wired camera, hold the came ra in one hand and insert the cable end into the bottom of t he camera.

20 Chapter 3 Getting Started Setting up the Doc king St ation T o set up the docking station, follow these procedures. Connecting the Docking Station to a Computer T o connect the dock ing st ation to a computer , follow these steps: 1 Connect the camera US B cable to the doc king st ation (1).

22 Chapter 3 Getting Started 2 Insert the SD card into the socket on the front of th e dock ing st ation. W ithout the SD card, or if the card is full, the dock ing station can store the last 12 images. W hen the card is inserted, the images are transferred automatically t o the card.

28 Chapter 3 Getting Started Connecting the Antenna to the Docking Station T o connect the antenna to the doc king station, screw the antenna into the connection on the right side of the docking station. Make sure the antenna is screwed tight ly into the connection.

30 Chapter 3 Getting Started Using the Camera with a Protective Sheath The protective sheath covers the camera and provides a sanit ary shield for the patient. Use a new sheath with each patient . Always discard the sheath after eac h use. Extra protective sheaths are avail able from your dealer .
