8 Oven T emperature Control IMPORT ANT : Do not use a thermometer to measure ov en temperature becau se openin g the oven door and element or burn er cycling may giv e incorrect readings. The oven(s ) provide accurate temperatures; however , they may cook faster or slower th an your previous oven , so the temperat ure calibrati on can be adjusted.
9 3. Press BAKE. Press the number pad s to enter a te mperature other than 350°F (18 0°C). The bake range can be set betw e en 170 °F and 500°F ( 75°C and 260°C). 4. Press COOK TIME. 5. Press the numb er pads to ente r the length of Sabbath Mode time, up t o 9 hours 59 minutes.

11 Maxi and Econo Broiling 1. Broil ele ments Broiling uses dir ect radiant heat to cook food. During max i broiling, both the inn er and out er broil elements heat. During econo broili ng, only th e inner broil element h eats. The element( s) cycle on and off in intervals to main tain the oven temperat ure.
12 Convection Bake 1. Convection eleme nt heat and fan Convecti on baking can be used for baking de licate cake s and past ries, as well as foods o n multip le rack s. It is helpful to stagger items on the racks to allow a more even flow of heat. If the oven is full, extra cooking time may be needed.

14 Convect Full Meal (on some models) Convect Ful l Meal lets you choose from eleven preset cookin g cycles. A single pad include s an oven set ting, an ov en temperature, an d a cook time or probe temperature. One p ad is changeabl e to allow you to set your own cy cle and sav e it for future use.
15 EasyConvect™ Conversi on (single, upper and, on s ome models, lower oven) Convecti on temperatures and times differ from those of standa rd cooking. The oven can automatica lly reduce sta ndard r ecipe temperatures and times for conv ection cooking.
16 Dehydrating (single, upper and, on s ome models, lower oven) Dehydrating dries food. For additional information, refer to a book writte n specifical ly about deh ydrating or preservin g foods. Dehydrat ion racks and an oven door stop are required, b ut not suppli ed with th is oven.

When the st op time is reached, the oven will shut off automatical ly and “End” wil l appear on the oven display .
19 Prepare Oven: ■ Remove t he broil er pan, grid , cookwar e and b akewar e and, on some models, th e temperature probe from the oven. ■ Remove any foi l from the oven because it may burn or melt, damaging the oven. ■ Remove oven racks t o keep them sh iny and easy to slide.
20 OVEN CA VITY Do not use oven cleaners . Food spills should be cleaned when oven cools. At high temperat ures, foods react with porcelain and st aining , etching, pittin g or faint wh ite spots ca n result . ■ Self-C leani ng cycl e: See “Self-Cl eaning Cycle ” first.
