3 INST ALLA TION RE QUIREMENTS T ools and P ar ts Gather the req uired tools and part s before starting installation. Read and follow the instructions provided with any tools list ed here. T ools needed Parts supplied Check that all parts are included.
4 Location Requirement s IMPORT ANT : Obser ve all gover ning codes and or dinances. Do not obstruct flow of combustion and ventilation air . ■ It is the installer’ s r esponsibi lity to comply with installation clearances spec ified on the mo del/serial rati ng plate.
5 * Drill on centerline 1¼" (3.1 cm) from rear wall for gas supply line. ** Gas lines must be installed within the shade d area to ensur e proper alignment of this oven with cabinets. ***Recessed electrical plugs must be installed with in the shaded area to ensure pr oper alignment of this ove n with cabinets.
6 If connecting to a 4-wir e system: This range is manufactured with the ground connected to the neutral by a link. The ground must be revised so the gr een ground wir e of the 4-wire power supply cord is connected to the cabinet. See “Electrical Connection” section.
7 Gas Supply Requirements Observe all governi ng codes and ordinances. IMPORT ANT : This installation must conform with all local codes and ordinances. In the absence of local codes, installation must conform with American National Sta ndard, National Fuel Gas Code ANSI Z223.
8 Burner Input Requirements Input ratings shown on the mode l/serial rating plate are for elevations up to 2,000 ft (609.6 m). For elevations above 2,000 ft (609.6 m), ratings are reduced at a rate of 4% for each 1,000 ft (304.8 m) above sea level (not applicable fo r Canada).
9 3. Determine and mark edge of range in the cu tout space. The mounting bracket can be installed on either the left side or right side of the cutout. Position mounting bracket in cutout so that right (or left) edge of the bracket is ¹⁵⁄₁₆ " (2.
10 4. Add strain relief. Style 1: Power supply co rd strain r elief ■ Assemble a UL listed strain relief in the opening. ■ Feed the power supply cord through the strain re l ief in the cord/conduit plate on bottom of range. Allow enough slack to easily attach the wiring to the terminal block.
11 6. Complete installation following instructions for your type of electric al connection: 4-wire (r ecommended) 3-wire (if 4-wire is not available) Electrical Connection Options 4-wire connection: P.
12 3-wire connection: Power Supply Cor d Use this method only if local codes permit connecting chassis ground conductor to neutra l wire of power supply cord. 1. Feed the power supply cord through the strain re l ief in the cord/conduit plate on bottom of range.
13 3. Pull the conduit through the strain relief on cord/conduit plate on bottom of range. Allow enou gh slack to easily attach wiring to the terminal block. 4. Attach termi nal lugs (located in the package containing literatur e) to line 1 (black), neutral (white), and lin e 2 (red) wires.
14 2. Attach termi nal lugs (located in the package containing literature) to line 1 (black), bare (green) gr ound, and lin e 2 (red) wires. Loosen (do not remove) the setscrew on the front of the terminal lug and insert ex posed wir e end through bottom of terminal lugs.
15 Complete connection 1. Open the manual shutoff valve in the gas supply line. The valve is open when the handle is parallel to the gas pipe. 2. T est all connections by brushing on an approved noncorrosive leak-detection solution. If bubbles appear , a leak is indicated.
16 Electronic Ignition System Initial lighting and gas flame adjustments Cooktop burners use pilotless ignite rs in place of standing pilots. When the cooktop control knob is turned to the “LITE” position, the system cr eates a spark to li ght the burner .
17 G AS CON VERSIONS Gas conversions from Natural gas to LP gas or from LP gas to Natural gas must be done by a qualified installer . LP Gas Con v er sion 1. T ur n manual shutof f valve to the closed position. 2. Unplug range or disconnect power . T o Convert Gas Pr essure Regulator 1.
18 2. Unscrew the r egula tor cap and r emove the plastic cover . 3. Flip the r egulator pin over and re place the plastic cover . 4. Screw the regulator cap secur ely back into place. Do not overtighten. T o Convert Surface Burners 1. If the burner grat es are installed, r emove them.
19 Natural Gas Con version 1. T ur n manual shutoff valve to the closed position. 2. Unplug range or disconnect power . T o Convert Gas Pressur e Regulator 1. Lo ca te ga s p re ssu re reg ul at o r at the rear of the range. IMPORT ANT : Do not remove the gas pr essure regulator .
20 4. Apply masking tape to the end of a ⁹⁄₃₂ " (7.0 mm) nut driver to help hold the LP gas orifice spud in the nut driver while changing it. Press nut driver down onto the LP gas orifice spud and remove by turning it counter clockwise and lifting out.
21 For direc t-wired ranges: 1. Disconnect power . 2. T ur n manual shutoff valve to the closed position. 3. Disconnect wiring. 4. Disconnect the gas supply tubing. 5. Complete cleaning or maintenance. 6. Reconnect the gas supply tubing. 7. Reconnect wiri ng.

26 ■ Cette cuisinière est dotée d’un dispositif de branchement (homologation CSA International) destiné à être branché sur une prise de courant mu rale standard 14-50R. V eiller à ce que la prise de cour ant murale soit placée à portée de la position de service finale de la cuisinière.
27 Détendeur de gaz Le détendeur four ni avec cette cuisinière doit être utilisé. Pour un fonctionnement correct, la pressi on d'alimentation du détendeur doit être comme suit : Gaz nature.
28 Réglage des pieds de niv ellement 1. Si un ajustement de l a hauteur de la cuisinière est nécessaire, utiliser une clé ou une pince pour desserrer les 4 pieds de nivellement.
29 Raccordement au gaz Raccor dement typique par raccord flexible 1. Appliquer une pâte à joints spéc iale pour tuyauteries propane sur les extrémités du petit filetage des raccords d'adaptation flexible s (voir B et G dans l'illustration suivante).
30 3. Si l'arrière de la cuisinièr e se soulève de plus de ½" (1,3 cm) du plancher sans opposer de ré sistance, cesser d'incliner la cuisinière et la reposer doucemen t sur le pla ncher . Le pied de la cuisinière n'est pas engagé d ans la bride antibasculement.
31 Réglage de la taille des flammes Régler la taille des flammes du brû leur supérieur . Pour le réglage au débit thermiqu e minimum du brûleur de la table de cui sson, on doit observer une flamm e stable bleue d’envir on ¼" (0,64 cm) de hauteur .
32 CON V ER SIONS DE G AZ Les conversions pour changement de gaz nat ur el à gaz propane ou de gaz pr opane à gaz natur el doivent être ef fectuées par un installateur qualifié. Con version pour l'alimentation au gaz propane 1. Fermer le robinet d’arrêt manuel.
33 Conversion du détendeur 1. Déterminer l’emplacement du dé tendeur à l’arriè re de la cuisinière. IMPORT ANT : Ne pas enlever le détendeur . 2. Dévisser le chapeau du déten deur et retir er le capuchon en plastique. 3. Retourner la goup ille du détendeur et réinstaller le capuchon en plastique.
34 6. Réinstaller la base de brûleur et serr er les vis à la main. 7. Réinstaller le ch apeau de brûl eur . 8. Répéter les étapes 1 à 7 pour les autr es brûleurs.
35 3. À l’aide d’un tour nevis Phillip s ou T20 ® To r x ® , ret ire r l a b as e du brûleur . 4. Appliquer du ruban adhésif de masquage à l'ex trémité d’un tourne-éc rou de ⁹⁄₃ ₂ " (7 mm) pour reteni r le gicleur de gaz propane dans le tour ne-écrou du rant l’extraction.
