3 RANGE SAFETY The Anti-T ip Bracket The range will no t tip durin g normal use. Howev er , t he range can ti p if you a pply too much force or weight to the open door wit hout t he anti-tip bracket fasten ed dow n properly . 8 Range (S tandard and Elect ronic Knob Cont rol System) COOKTOP USE Ceramic Glass The surface cooking a rea will glow red when an element i s on. It will cycl e on and off, at all setti ngs, to mainta in the sel ected heat level .
9 ■ Determin e flatness by placing the straight edge of a ru ler across the bottom of the cookware. While you rotate the ruler , no space or li ght should b e visibl e between it and t he cookware. ■ Cookwar e designed with slightly i ndented bottoms or small expa nsion ch annels can b e used .

11 Simmer The Simmer fun ction is ava ilable on all the surface cookin g elements . It has an ad justable h eat sett ing for more precise simmer control.
12 Single and Dual- Size Elemen ts The Dual-Size Elem ents of fer flexibil ity dependin g on the size of the cookwa re. S i ngle s i ze can b e used in the same way as a regular element. The du al size combin es both the single and outer element and i s recommended for lar ger size cookware.
13 Hot Surface Indicator Lig ht The hot surface indic ator light will glow as long as any surf ace cooking area is too hot to touch , even after the s urface cooking area(s) is tur ned off. 14 Simmer The Simmer feature is an adjustable h eat setting for more precise simmering. It is the right front (and le ft rear on some mode ls) surface cookin g areas or elements. Whe n the Simmer fe ature is not on, the right fr ont surface cooking areas or elements will funct io n as us ual.

16 Start The ST ART pad begins any oven function except the Timer , Control Loc k and Sab bath Mod e. If not press ed wit hin 5 s econds after pressin g a pa d, “ ST ART? ” will appear on the ov en dis play as a reminder .
17 Ti m e r The Timer can be set in minute s and second s or hours and minutes an d counts d own the se t time. NOTE : The Ti mer does not start or stop the oven. 1. Press TIMER SET/ST ART . Press again to swi tch from MIN/SEC and HR/MIN. If no ac tion i s taken a fter 4 minu tes, the di splay will r eturn to the time of day mode.
18 T emperature Prob e (on some models) The temperature probe accurate ly measures the inter nal temperature of meat, pou ltry and ca sseroles with liq uid and should be u sed in dete rmining t he doneness of meat and poul try . It should not be used during maxi and econo broi l ing, convection broiling or pr oofing bread.

20 Bake The BAKE function is ideal for b aking, roastin g or heating casseroles. During baking or roastin g, the bake and b roil elements will cycl e on and off in intervals to main tain oven temp erature.
21 Convection Cookin g (on some models) In a convectio n oven, the fan-circulated hot air continu ally distributes heat mor e evenly than the natural movement of air in a stan dard t he rma l ov en.
22 Convection Roast (on some models) Convection roasti ng can be used for roasting meat s and poultry , or for baking yeast breads an d loaf cakes us ing a sing le rack.
23 Convection B roil (on some models) During convect ion broiling, th e broil elements will cycle on and off in interv als to maintain oven temp erature, whil e the fan c onstant ly circulates the ho t air . The temperature is preset at 50 0 ° F (260 ° C), but ca n be change d to a different temperature.
24 Sabbat h Mode The Sabbath M ode sets the oven to remain on in a bake set ting until tur ned off. A timed Sa bba th Mode can als o be se t to kee p the oven on for only part of the Sabbath.

28 CERAMIC GLASS (on s ome m odels) Do not u se st eel wool, a brasive powder c leansers, chlorine bleach, rust remover or ammonia because damage may occur . Always wipe wi th a clean, wet cloth or sponge and dry thorough l y to prevent streaking and sta ining.
29 Stor age Dra wer The storage drawer c an be removed. Before r e moving, make sure drawer is cool and empt y . To R e m o v e : 1. Pull drawer strai ght out to the firs t stop. 2. Lift up the bac k of the drawer an d pull out. T o Replace: 1. Fit the ends of the drawer rai ls into th e guides i n the cavi ty .
