5 INSTALL ATION IN STRUC TIONS Unpacking 1. Empty the mic rowave oven of any packin g materials . 2. Clean the inside with a so ft, damp cl oth. 3. Check for damage, such as: ■ a door that is not lined up correctly ■ damage around the door , or ■ dents on the interior or ext erior of the microwave oven.

7 Dis pla y When power is first supplie d to the microwave oven, “0:00” will appear in the display . If the “0:00” appears in the di splay at any other time, a power fa ilure has occurred. Reset the clock if needed. See “Clock.” When the microwave oven is in use, the di splay w ill show cook time remaining.
8 MICR OWAVE OVEN USE A magnetron in the microwave oven produces microwaves whic h reflect off the metal floor , walls and cei ling and pas s through the turn table and ap propriate cookware to th e food.
9 T o T est Cookware or Dinner ware for Micr o wave Use: 1. Place cookware or dinnerware in microwave oven with 1 cup (250 mL) of water beside it. 2. Cook at 100% cooking p ower for 1 minute. Do not use cookwar e or dinnerwar e if it becomes hot a nd the wate r sta ys c ool.
