9 INST ALLA TION INSTRUCTIONS CONNECTING THE W A TER LINES • IMPOR T ANT : Use new hoses when installing the washer . Do NOT r euse old hoses. • W ater supply pressur e must be between 14.5 psi and 116 psi (100~800 kP a). If the water supply pressur e is more than 116 psi, a pr essure r e ducing valv e must be installed.

12 HOW T O USE POWER (ON/OFF) BUTT ON Pr ess to turn the w asher ON or OFF . NOTE: P ressing the POWER button during a cycle will cancel that cycle and any load settings will be lost . The door will unlock after a brief pause , unless the w ater lev el or temperatur e is too high.

TURN ON THE W ASHER Pr ess the PO WER button to turn ON the washer . The lights ar ound the cycle sele ctor knob will illuminate and a chime will sound.
14 NOTE: • T o pr otect your garments , not every wash temper ature , spin spe ed, soil level, or option is av ailable with ev er y cycle. A chime will sound and the LED will not light if the selection is not allo wed.

17 ABOUT THE DISPENSER DRA WER The automatic dispenser consists of four compartments which hold: • Liquid chlorine bleach. • Liquid fabric softener . • Liquid or po wder ed detergent for pr ewash. • Liquid or po wder ed detergent and color -safe bleach for main w ash.
18 DETERGENT AND DISPENSER USE AW ordAboutDetergents High-Eciency (HE) deter gents produce few er suds, dissolve mor e eciently to impr ov e washing and rinsing performance , and help to keep the interior of y our washer clean.
19 TIME AND ST A TUS DISPLA Y The time and status display shows the estimated time remaining , cycle pr ogress , and door lock status. ESTIMA TED TIME REMAINING When the ST AR T/P AUSE button is pr esse d, the washer will automatically detect the load size for cycles that use load sensing.
20 W ASH TEMP W ash T emp selects the w ash and rinse temper ature combination for the selected cycle. Press the W ash T emp button until the indicator light for the desired setting is lit . • Y our washer features a heating element to boost the hot w ater temperatur e for Extr a Hot settings.
21 STEAM CY CLES AND OPTIONS STEAMTREA TOption STEAM cycles include Normal, Bulk y/ Bedding, Kids W e ar , Heavy Duty , Sanitize and Whitest Whites. Adding ste am to these cy cles helps pro vide impro ved cle aning performance. B y creat - ing steam, fabrics get the benet of a deep clean.
22 Y our washing machine features sever al additional cycle options that customize cycles to meet your individual needs. T urn ON the washer and turn the cycle sele ctor knob to select the desired cycle. Use the cycle modier buttons to adjust the settings for that cycle.
23 SPECIAL FUNCTIONS CONTR OLLOCK Use this option to disable the controls. The washer can only be locked during a cy cle. This feature can pre vent children fr om changing cycles or operating the machine. Once set , the contr ols r emain locked and must be turned OFF before the controls can be used again.
24 DoorSealandGlassCleaning Due to the location and natur e of the door seal, some detergent and soil r esidue may build up on the door glass and se al. P eriodic cleaning with a bleach solution can help remo ve buildup and stains , and can help sanitize the se al to pre vent odors.
