The design of the ceramic cooktop outlines the area of the surface element underneath. Make sure the diameter of the pan matches the diameter of the element outline on the cooktop (See Figure t ).

Setting Oven Controls Setting the Clock The CLOCK _ pad is used to set the clock. The clock may be set for 12 or 24 hour time of day operation. The clock has been preset at the factory for the 12 hour operation.

Setting Oven Controls (con't) Setting Oven Lockout Feature The _ pad controls the Oven Lockout feature. The Oven Lockout feature automatically locks the oven door and prevents the Oven from being turned ON. it does not disable the clock, Kitchen Timer or the interior oven lights.
Setting Oven Controls (con't) Setting Temperature Display -- Fahrenheit or Celsius: The BROIL _ and FLEX CLEAN _ pads control the Fahrenheit or Celsius temperature display modes. The v oven control can be programmed to display temperatures in Fahrenheit or Celsius.
Setting Oven Controls (con't) Setting Preheat The PREHEAT L_ pad controls the Preheat feature. The Preheat feature will bring the oven up to temperature and then indicate when to place the food in the oven. Use this feature when recipes call for preheating.

Setting Oven Controls (cont'd) Setting the Slow Cook Feature The SLOW COOK _ pad is used to activate this feature. The Slow Cook feature may be used to cook foods more V slowly, at lower oven temperatures and provides cooking results much the same way as a Slow Cooker or Crock-Pot.

Setting Oven Controls (cont'd) Setting the Food Categories Feature: The MEATS _, CAKES _ and BREADS _ pads in the Food Categories feature are used when v cooking certain food items. These pads have been designed to give optimum cook performance for the foods selected in each category.
Setting Oven Controls (cont'd) Setting the Warm & Hold TM Feature The Warm & Hold _ pad turns ON the Warm & Hold feature and will maintain an oven temperature of t 70°F (77°C). The Warm & Hold feature will keep oven baked foods warm for serving up to 3 hours after cooking has finished.

Setting Warmer Drawer Controls Arranging Warmer (Warm & Ready TM) Drawer Rack Positions The rack can be used in 2 ways: • In the upright position to allow low profile food items to be placed both under and on top of the rack (for example, rolls or biscuits on top of the rack and a casserole dish underneath).
