6 Location R equirements Selecti ng the proper location for you r washer improves performance and minimizes n oise and possi ble washer “walk.” Y our washer can be install ed under a custom c ounter , or in a basement, lau ndry room, closet, or recessed area.

8 Electrical Requirements ■ A 120 v olt, 60 Hz., AC onl y , 15- or 20-amp, fu sed electric al supply is required. A time-del ay fuse or circuit breaker is recommended. It is recommended that a s eparate circuit serving only this app liance be provided.
9 INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS Remove T ransport System IMPORT ANT : Pos ition the washe r so that the rear of the washer is w ithin ap proxi mately 3 ft (9 0 cm) of its fina l locat ion. There are 4 bolts in the rear panel of th e washer that su pport the suspension system during t ransportation.
10 Route the D rain Hose Proper r outing of the drain hose pr otects your floors from damage due to wat er leakage. Read and follow these instr uction s. Remove drain hose fro m washer cabinet Gently pull t he corrugated drain hose from the shi pping clips .
11 Complet e Installa tion 1. Chec k the elec trical re quir emen ts. B e sur e that you h ave th e correct electrical su pply and th e r ecommen ded grounding method. See “ E lectrical Req uirements. ” 2. Be sure all parts are now instal led. If t here is an extra part, go back thr ough th e steps to see w hich st ep was sk ipped.

16 Normal/Casual Use this cycle to wash load s of no-iron fabrics such as sport shirt s, blou ses, casua l busin ess clot hes, per manent press blends , cottons and li nens, and synthetic fabrics. Thi s cycle combines mediu m-speed tumbl ing, high-spe ed spin, and a l oad cooling process to r educe wrinkling.

21 Wa t e r I n l e t H o s e s Replace i nlet hose s after 5 y ears of use to reduce the ris k of hose failure. Periodi cally ins pect and replace in let hoses if bu lges, kinks, cuts, wear or leaks ar e found. When replacing yo ur inlet hoses, record the dat e of replacement.
