5 USING Y OUR KAMBROOK ST AINLESS STEEL SLO W COOKER BEFORE FIRST USE Befor e first use remov e all promotional stick ers and packaging material. W ash the r emovable cr ockery bowl and glass lid in hot, soap y water , rinse and dr y thor oughly . Ensure the interior of the stainless steel housing is clean and clear of any debris.

7 PREP ARING MEA T AND POUL TR Y Select the leanest cuts when pur chasing meat. T rim the meat or poultry of any visible fat. If possible, purchase chick en portions without the skin. Otherwise , the slow cooking pr ocess will result in extra liquid being formed fr om the fat as it melts.
8 PO T RO ASTING The addition of liquid is r equired for pot r oasting. Place sufficient liquid into the Removable Cr ockery Bowl to cov er up to a third of the meat. Meat will not brown during the pot r oasting process. For br owner results, seal in a fr ypan before pot r oasting.
9 NEVER Place water or other liquids into the base of the stainless steel housing Slow Cook er . Immerse the stainless steel housing, cord or plug of the Slow Cook er in water . 10 RECIPES VEGET ABLE SOUP Ser ves 16 90g butter , optional 4 large carr ots, diced 8 large potatoes, peeled & diced 2 sticks celer y , diced 4 large onions, peeled & diced 3 litres chick en o.
11 FRENCH ONION SOUP Ser ves 16 4 litres beef stock 6 onions, thickly sliced 125g butter 2 teaspoons salt 2 tablespoons sugar 4 tablespoons flour 1 ⁄ 2 cup brandy 1 1 ⁄ 2 cups grated Parmesan cheese Pour stock into Slo w Cooker and set on HIGH. Cook onions slowly in a pan with butter for 15 minutes.

14 CHICKEN P ARISIENNE Ser ves 12 12 chick en breasts Salt & pepper , to taste 1 teaspoon paprika 1 cup dr y white wine 2 x 440ml cans cream of chick en soup 1 x 440g can sliced mushr ooms 2 cups sour cream 1 teaspoon paprika, extra Sprinkle chick en breasts lightly with salt, pepper and paprika.

16 BAKED PO T A T OES P erfect for the barbeque or when cooking for a cr owd. Fill the Slow Cooker with lik e sized scrubbed and buttered potatoes – the Slow Cook er will hold appr oximately 18–20 potatoes. Sprinkle with seasoned salt, cov er and cook on LO W for 8–10 hours.
