22 2-2 Setting the PC’ s IP Address for Windows 2000 Preparations (Step 2 Setting the Network) After attaching the camera, proceed to set the IP address of the PC b y which the camera is operated. With Windows 2000, follow the pr ocedure below to set the IP ad dress.

27 VN-C10 is equipped with an access protection (security) function that, by setting passw ords, regulates users of the connected PC. Setting and cancellation of passw or ds can be performed with [V .Networks Setup T ool]. According to access right (authorization) lev els, up to 3 pass words (user , operator and administrator) can be set.
28 This section describes alarm setting. Alarm input is activated in the f ollo wing cases. • Input signals are receiv ed from an input ter minal located on the rear panel of the camera, [ALARM INPUT 1] or [ALARM INPUT 2]. ( ☞ Page 16) • Motion has been detected.
